RICS Homebuyer Report

RICS Homebuyer Report

The RICS Homebuyers Report is produced in a standard format. It is usually commissioned by the prospective purchasers of a property with the intention of discovering if the purchase price is an accurate reflection of the market and if there are any defects which will need attention.

The report contains a rating given by the surveyor on each element of the property along with a description of condition. The report also includes the surveyor's own valuation of the property and an insurance reinstatement cost analysis. Any major defects will be discovered any moderate or minor defects highlighted so that the purchaser is able to make an informed choice before concluding the sale. Defects highlighted in the report can also be used as negotiating tools.

FES is able to provide RICS Homebuyers Reports and guide our clients through the process by always being available for help and advice and offering clear explanations of any complications which may be discovered.
